The time has finally come! Yesterday was the first day of one of favorite music festivals, Bunbury in Cincinnati, OH! We have been itching for this festival to come around and we cannot believe how much fun the first day was.
We started out the day with Ohio natives, The Orphan The Poet. There was no better way to kick off the festival than with a fun band like them. Their fans truly enjoyed every second of their set and kept the energy going throughout.
Next up was HALFNOISE. Everyone could not help but move and groove the whole set. We were blown away by front man, Zac Farro’s drum solo within the first 5 minutes.
After, we caught up with our favorite internet girl, Poppy. From her techno inspired songs to heavy metal, Poppy had all eyes on her.
It only made sense for Machine Gun Kelly to have the most insane crowd since we were only a few hours south of his hometown. We were so impressed with the energy coming from him, his band and the crowd behind us. From new songs to his most infamous, it seemed like no one could get enough.
We ended our night with Fall Out Boy and boy, were we excited! They started out their set with the classic tune, “Disloyal Order of Buffalos” and we immediately knew we were in for a treat. The whole crowed was screaming the words so loudly, it was almost hard to hear Patrick singing himself. We would be lying if we said we were not transported back to our younger days of only listening to Fall Out Boy and wearing red skinny jeans.
We are so excited for the rest of the weekend. What other bands should we check out at Bunbury? Let us know in the comments or on Twitter!
