On Tuesday night, teen queen Billie Eilish played a flawless set at Public Arts in New York, NY in support of her debut EP, Don’t Smile At Me. At the beginning of her set, Eilish came running onto the stage to the theme song for the hit television show “The Office and went straight into “COPYCAT”, a salty-dig at people’s lack of originality. Throughout her set, Eilish played her entire discography, including an unreleased song and a cover of Drake’s “Hotline Bling”. Halfway through the set, Eilish invited her older brother, Finneas O’Connell who serves as her backing band, to come out and play a song from his solo project titled “I’m In Love Without You”.
Despite having laryngitis, Eilish powered through her set and delivered a fantastic performance to all of her adoring fans. She still jumped around and joked around with the crowd between songs, and the crowd loved every second of it. The crowd was singing every song right back to her and probably could of kept singing with her all night long if they had the chance to.
