Beach Weather gained a new fan yesterday! I knew little to nothing about the band going into the show, but after watching their set I can confidently say they’re one of those bands that convinces you through their live set to go home and listen to their entire discography. Nick Santino, the lead singer, rocked a burgundy suit for the Pier 17 show and throughout the set had that natural frontman energy that captivated the audience with every word. The energy from each band member proved that they were truly happy to be performing for the crowd, especially in such a gorgeous and unique venue like Pier 17 where you’re overlooking both the Brooklyn Bridge and the Statue of Liberty. There was a lot of excitement within the first few rows of the audience as well during Beach Weather’s set, and a good amount of people knew the words to all of the songs they played. This is somewhat rare for an opening band, so it was heartwarming to see the familiarity between them and the fans. Beach Weather then played a headlining show in Brooklyn the following night to continue the fun, and hopefully they’ll be back again soon!
