Bad Suns brought the Apocalypse Whenever Tour to Nashville’s Brooklyn Bowl on February 22, 2022. The alternative rock band hailing from Southern California is known for its “post-punk” charisma, drawing inspiration from The Cure and Elvis Costello. Bad Suns delivered energized performances of songs off of Language & Perspective, Disappear Here, and their newest record, Apocalypse Whenever. Highlights of the show include “Baby Blue Shades”, “Cardiac Arrest”, and a show-stopping encore of “Heartbreaker”. Bad Suns’ most recent single, “Heaven is A Place in My Head”, tells the all too well-known tale of an endless summer that feels like a daydream.
Keep an eye out for our upcoming feature on Bad Suns in the next Beyond the Stage issue.
