Currently on tour supporting Swedish songstress ionnalee, Allie X made it clear that she couldn’t be a more perfect way to start a night full of pop music bliss. Before doors to Portland’s Holocene Nightclub opened, heaps of people lined up outside the venue, guaranteeing themselves a good spot to see not only ionnalee, but the brilliant Allie X as well. As fans swarmed into the venue, a stunning amount of concert-goers in Allie X t shirts were present, clearly anticipating the pop enigma’s arrival.

While Allie X might not have been the headliner, you wouldn’t have know that from the killer performance she delivered. Singing tracks from CollXtion I, CollXtion II, and her recent release Super Sunset, she had the crowd in the palm of her gloved hand from the second she stepped on stage. Opening with fan favorite track “Bitch”, Allie’s energy and unique brand of electro-pop were on full display. Standouts like the bubbly “Casanova”, the heartbreaking “Good”, and the ethereal banger “Science”, prompted singing, dancing, screaming, and maybe even a few tears here. Despite having only a nine song set, Allie X made her presence know with an extremely impactful and fun show, and we can’t help but hope she comes back with a headlining show soon!
