From a YouTuber sleeping in his car to a social media sensation to an up-and-coming singer-songwriter, Alex Warren, just closed out his You’ll Be Alright, Kid Global Tour Monday night at the iconic Troubadour in West Hollywood, CA.
The evening celebrating the release of Warren’s debut album opened with the singer’s best friend, Michael Sanzone. Sanzone unexpectedly joined Warren onstage during his first Troubadour appearance last year and returned to the stage to support Alex making this his first-ever tour complete. He set the tone for an incredibly comical, energetic, and powerful evening.
Following Sanzone’s set, Warren burst onto the stage sporting a Warren-branded LA Dodgers jersey (“Let’s go Dodgers!”) singing “Chasing Shadows” off his recent and NEW album release You’ll Be Alright, Kid (Chapter 1). Family, friends, and fans were met with Warren’s exuberant energy and lit up the venue shouting every single lyric loud and clear. Alex performed many songs off of the record including the title track “You’ll Be Alright, Kid” and “Carry You Home” where he reflected on his emotional vows to his longtime partner and now wife, Kouvr.
@alexwaarren I promise to find you in every lifetime
And it was a night of reflection on all of the singer’s triumphant chapters in his journey and career. The audience laughed, the audience cried, and the audience embraced the stories and lyrics Alex shared. He closed the evening with infectious energy with his hits “Burning Down” and “Before You Leave Me”.
Alex Warren‘s debut album, You’ll Be Alright, Kid (Chapter 1), is out NOW.
