Gen-Z pop icon, Olivia Rodrigo, announces her first major tour, and it’s a big one!
The SOUR tour includes thirty-three North American dates and fifteen European dates.
Rodrigo’s debut album, SOUR, released in late May 2021, made history. Not only did numerous songs from the album thrive atop the US Billboard Hot 100, but SOUR also broke the global Spotify record for the biggest opening week for an album by a female artist. Rodrigo also secured seven GRAMMY nominations this year including best new artist, song, record, and album of the year. good 4 u, Olivia!
The North American tour kicks off in San Francisco on April 2nd, 2022, and wraps up in Los Angeles on May 25th. Though she is stopping in many major US cities, the SOUR tour doesn’t have any dates in Florida.
After a short break following the North American tour, Rodrigo is going abroad. The Sour European tour begins in Hamburg, Germany on June 11th, 2022, and concludes in London on July 7th.
Three different special guests will appear on tour with Rodrigo. In the first leg of the North American tour (4/02-4/23), American singer-songwriter, Gracie Abrams, will be joining Rodrigo. Opening for the second half of the North American tour (4/26-5/25) is British musician, Holly Humberstone. Joining the SOUR tour during the European leg is London-based artist, Baby Queen.
