Five years. That is how long it has been since Nothing But Thieves has made it back to tour the states. We were so excited when the band announced their Dead Club City Tour and even more elated to have had the chance to check it out.
The band opened their set with the title track, “Welcome to the DCC” which was the perfect way to transport the crowd right to the Dead Club City. The groovy track set the vibe for the entire show. There was not a second where the crowd was not dancing around and screaming every lyric. It is no surprise many tracks from Welcome to the DCC were on the setlist. From “Tomorrow is Closed” to “Do You Love Me Yet”, they really highlighted their incredible artistry on their newest record.
Sprinkled throughout the set, Nothing But Thieves were able to go through their eras by playing songs from past albums. The crowd lost their minds while the band played songs from their previous album, “Moral Panic” as they did not get a chance to bring that album cycle to the stage in America. From “Trip Switch” to “Broken Machine”, every fan in the building got to leave hearing songs from their favorite album.
Overall, we believe that you should not miss out on the chance to see Nothing But Thieves. Even if you do not know them well, we can guarantee you will leave as a massive fan!
