Memphis artist, Nick Black, is showcasing his soulful voice with his new single “Filler”, a song that reminds us when we look ahead, we often miss what’s present around us. According to the artist, life is all about balance – the grass isn’t always greener on the other side.
Influenced by artists like John Mayer and John Legend, Black brings an upbeat joy to his music. Legacies Al Green and Sting have also influenced the artist to create a modern sound that still feels nostalgic.
Black grew up going to church, singing there throughout his childhood. He pulls music influence from the city of Memphis – Soul, RnB, Rock ‘n’ Roll and Blues.
In 2012, Black released his first album The Soul Diaries which showcased his authenticity. His unwavering passion for music continues to shine throughout his newer music.
When performing, Black likes to create an unforgettable experience for the audience. He is known to pull members up on stage from the crowd and sing one on one to people in the first row – no one gets left out.
Black and his band will be touring the United States from May to September 2022. We can’t wait to see the electric artist pull people into his music some more!
