Live from his Los Angeles studio, John Mayer partnered with Billboard to make a super special announcement through a live global webcast via Google+ Hangout. The musician answered questions from fans around the world, gave one of his first performances in more than two years (including a new song called “Dear Marie” and more), and on top of that, he announced that he will be going back on the road very soon! John Mayer had surgery back in the fall of 2011 for granulomas found next to his vocal cords. But he’s back, and ready to bring his latest LP, “Born and Raised” alive on stage this upcoming summer, starting in North America with American Idol alum, Phillip Phillips as the opening act.
