Ready for some new tunes to spice up your playlist? This week’s New Music Tuesday did not disappoint and Beyond The Stage is here to share our favorites.
Nate Ruess has a new single, “AhHa,” that samples fun. but still manages to be original. He tends to write songs that have the same anthem-type sound with heavy drum beats, and this song is no different.
SOAK is only 16 years old but has a soulful voice that sounds so much older. Her new single “Blud” is perfect for curling up with a good book on a rainy day.
Brandon Flowers has a new song, “Lonely Town,” that has a very electronic sound to it. In our mind, the frontman of The Killers can do no wrong – give this song a listen.
“Colors” by VERITE is a song that will make you want to get up and groove. The harmonies and sound effects take it to the next level.
Twenty One Pilots has another new single, “Stressed Out,” that came out just in time for college finals. Unlike their single “Tear In My Heart” from a couple weeks ago, this song has more of the rap feel that fans are used to.
Wet’s new single “Deadwater” is beautiful. Singer Kelly Zutrau has a serious set of pipes and the piano melody keep this song from sounding too electronic and complement her voice perfectly.
The Vaccine’s new single “Minimal Affection” has their usual infectious sound and distorted guitar, making this a fun indie rock song.
Of Monsters and Men have another new single, “I Of The Storm.” The steady drum, slow piano, and harmonies fall right in line with their haunting sound.
Lastly, Odessa’s “For Granted” has some beautiful guitar work. The song starts slow but builds to be upbeat and lively.
