Happy New Music Friday! This week is full of some great jams from people like Taylor Swift, Neck Deep, Noah Cyrus and more! See the full guide below.
Top 10 Singles for the Week of July 24, 2020:
1. “cardigan” – Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift’s surprise album is a smash hit and this is the first track on the album with a video and it’s definitely a highlight. This simple, yet heartbreakingly earnest track is sure to please.
2. “Pac-Man (feat. ScHoolboy Q)” – Gorillaz
A collab we didn’t expect but also didn’t know we needed. These two artists come together and take a weird, quirky track to new heights thanks to mixed influences and killer vocals.
3. “3 small words” – MisterWives
The woman-led alt-pop group is back with a new album and this track is definitely a standout. It’s fun and talks of the anxiety that can come with expressing three small words to that one special person.
4. “NEVERMIND” – HRVY
Former BTS cover star, HRVY returns with the next installment of his forthcoming album, Can Anybody Hear Me? is anthemic and infectious. If this is any indication of how the rest of the album will be, we can’t wait to hear the full album.
5. “Take You Dancing” – Jason Derulo
The R&B singer is back with a super danceable track that will be sure to get just about anyone moving with its catchy chorus and Latin influence.
6. “Nobody’s Love” – Maroon 5
Everyone’s favorite pop band is back with a new track that is sure to blow up the radio waves. It’s a sweet track dedicated to telling that one person you’ll never need anyone’s love but theirs.
7. “No Pressure” – Logic
This intriguing track is full of different sound bytes that will grab any listener’s attention from the get-go. Logic then comes in and creates a track that shows off some of his best work to date.
8. “UN DIA (ONE DAY)” – J Balvin, Dua Lipa, Bad Bunny & Tainy
This great collection of artists has come together to create a smooth and sexy track — Dua Lipa’s vocal is definitely a standout but the collective sound takes the track even higher.
9. “Dunno” – Noah Cyrus
Past BTS cover star Noah Cyrus is back with some sultry smooth vocals with a simple backing that comes together to be some of her most intriguing work yet.
10. “Telling Stories” – Neck Deep
Neck Deep’s fifth album dropped today and this just might be the best track on it (not that it was easy to choose). It is full of that Neck Deep sound and attitude we know and love with a dose of great storytelling.
