1. “Telling Myself” – Joshua Bassett
The High School Musical The Musical The Series star has released his debut self-titled EP today and this track is definitely a highlight. It features a high-energy and infectious chorus that is sure to please fans and new listeners alike.
2. “2Drunk” – Nick Jonas
Nick Jonas dropped his latest solo album, Spaceman today and this track is just too relatable not to include. The album circles around the reality of life during a pandemic, and this track talks of just turning to drink as soon as it’s 5 pm since there’s nothing else to do.
3. “On The Ground” – ROSÉ
This K-pop track talks of chasing something for so long only to realize what you were looking for was right where you started. The vocal on this track is strong and empowering and shows off just what ROSÉ can do.
4. “Feels (feat. Khalid)” – WATTS
A dreamy collaboration — these two artists and have voices that will soothe you from the first note. The entangle so beautifully leaving us with a masterpiece.
5. “DAYWALKER! (feat. CORPSE)” – Machine Gun Kelly
Machine Gun Kelly returns with a new single that is definitely unique. It reminiscent of MGKs’ earlier work with the strong addition of CORPSE, creating a haunting, yet high-energy track.
6. “Slow Clap” – Gwen Stefani
Pop veteran, Gwen Stefani comes back with the catchiest track on this list. It’s fun and will be sure to get you moving in no time.
7. “Before You Leave” – Stella Prince
A light and sweet vocal opens this track and immediately sucks you into a story of a heart-tugging breakup. A simple acoustic guitar sound perfectly complements Stella Prince’s voice and carries you through the entirety of the song.
8. “stranger” – Jhené Aiko
Jhené Aiko is re-releasing her debut mixtape, Sailing Soul(s) from 2011 on streaming services and this track was the highlight then and is the highlight now thanks to its simple, but truly R&B/soul sound with that modern twist Aiko often features on her tracks.
9. “Heavy (blackbear)” – MOD SUN
The perfect collaboration is here. These two alt-artists have come together and found a way to make some of their best work. It’s alt-pop at its finest and is hard-hitting in the best way.
10. “Part Time Psycho (with Two Feet)” – SHAED
The fourth installment of their next album, High Dive SHAED returns with another collaboration that is just as fun and weird (in a good way) as you’d expect with a soulful twist.
