Top 10 Singles for the Week of June 8, 2018:
1. “3AM” – You Me At Six
A smooth high energy, upbeat take for YMAS. The first look into their new album sets a new tone for the band and we can’t wait for more!
2. “Almost Love” – Sabrina Carpenter
A more sultry track from the pop princess shows growth and maturity. A great song for the summer!
3.“This Way – From the Original Motion Picture SUPERFLY” – Khalid, H.E.R.
From the upcoming film, SUPERFLY, this slow burning song hits hard and will draw you in from the very beginning. H.E.R.’s vocal is the perfect complimentary sound to maintain the sound throughout.
4. “Clandestino” – Shakira, Maluma
Our favorite Latina pop queen is back with a Spanish track that has strong vibes that will get you moving even if you don’t speak the language.
5.“Like I Do” – Christina Aguilera, Goldlink
Only one more week until Christina Aguilera drops her highly-anticipated new album, Liberations, and she kindly has given us another track to tide us over. Goldlink brings a new sound to this track that we haven’t heard from the other singles yet. A sexy sound and a beat that will have no trouble getting you to move makes this one of her best yet!
6. “Sorcererz” – Gorillaz
The next track from their upcoming record, The Now Now, stays true to their unique electronic pop sound with a haunting vocal to accompany it. A chill track with synth beats that will be sure to be a standout on the record.
7. “Used to You” – Dagny
Hard-hitting lyrics from the EDM vocalist shows a new side that we haven’t seen before. This is a really good breakup track that will be sure to get you thinking about your past relationships.
8. “imagine if” – gnash
A light, pop track with simple, yet perfect beats and smart lyrics makes this a true gnash song. Fans will love the infectious chorus and the fast vocal.
9. “Tell Me” – Marshmello
An EDM track that features a clear pop influence that still manages to be one of the catchiest songs of the summer, even without much vocals.
10.“Bullets” – NEEDTOBREATHE
A reminiscent sound of old rock opens the track and then the vocal just hits you. You can really hear the emotion in the vocal making it the focal point of the entire track.
