Happy New Music Friday, friends! This week was one for the books; with great new music from just about everyone we love, narrowing the list down to just 10 tracks was no easy feat! Check out our selections below.
Top 10 Singles for the Week of June 15, 2018:
1. “If Walls Could Talk” – 5SOS
A softer side of 5SOS that is one of the standout tracks of their album Youngblood (which dropped today!) This will be in our heavy rotation for pretty much, ever.
2. “Everything Is Fine” – All Time Low
ATL is back with a perfect summer jam that is very All Time Low-esque. It’s full of catchy hooks and the familiar message of tuning out the world with music.
3.“Love Me Down” – LEXXE
A sultry pop track that reminds that hints at influences of synth-pop and EDM. Fans of Halsey will love this.
4. “Dead and Gone” – State Champs
A hard-hitting track that will get you excited for Warped season — which they are playing! The new record shows a new side of the pop-punk outfit and this track really gives a good glimpse into that.
5.“TV in the Morning” – DNCE
One of our favorite pop rock bands is back (and better than ever, tbh). This track is a little more chilled out than their previous work, but there is great lyrical growth and that theme is constant throughout their entire EP, People To People.
6. “Never Sure” – Mayday Parade
Sunnyland, the new Mayday Parade record is finally here today! This track is one of the standouts — it has that old school Mayday sound that we know and love with a fresh take that will bring a refreshing vibe to an old favorite.
7. “Friend Like Me” – Betty Who
A sweet, soft side of Betty Who that we know and love! This wispy track is a perfect way to close her new EP, Betty, Pt. 1 which showcases her great vocal range.
8. “Right Moves” (feat. Keida & Shenseea) – Christina Aguilera
It’s finally here!! The highly anticipated return of Queen Christina is here and it’s amazing. This track is the perfect addition to her other singles, with pop influences with a perfect blend of R&B.
9. “Dance To This” (feat. Ariana Grande) – Troye Sivan
Only one of the best collabs ever, if you ask us. Troye and Ariana’s vocals blend together so seamlessly and it makes the perfect slow pop jam.
10.“Bed” (feat. Ariana Grande) – Nicki Minaj
Another Ariana collab! It’s an R&B-influenced pop dream that is going to be all over the radio for the forseeable future. We’re not complaining!
