New Music Friday is here again! This week’s guide is full of great new tunes from some of our absolute favorites, like Bea Miller, Pentatonix, 5SOS and more!
Top 10 Singles for the Week of February 23, 2018:
1. “Want You Back” – 5 Seconds of Summer
The return that we’ve all been waiting for. 5SOS is back and better than ever it seems. With this first glimpse into 5SOS3, we see a bit more of a softer side of the Aussie boys.
2. “Psycho” – Post Malone (feat. Ty Dolla $ign)
The track that Post Malone fans have been waiting for. After teasing a short clip of the track over a year ago, it’s finally here and better than we could have imagined.
3. “motherlove” – Bea Miller
The growth that Bea Miller has shown on the past few EPs is impeccable, and this track is no different. Her angry mentality on this track is infectious.
4. “Heavenly” – Pale Waves
A dream pop anthem that wouldn’t sound out-of-place on a Betty Who album. A simple beat with upbeat synths that create a splendid dance track.
5.“44 More” – Logic
Logic shows his range as a rapper on this track with real lyrics and a passionate vocal.
6. “Havana” – Pentatonix
And we thought we couldn’t love this song any more. Pentatonix turns Camila Cabello’s track into an a cappella masterpiece that blows us away!
7. “Next to Me” – Imagine Dragons
After announcing an extended summer tour, Imagine Dragons dropped a new single from their latest effort, Evolve, and it might just be some of their best work yet with a stripped back take and a big finish.
8. “Cocky” – A$AP Rocky, Gucci Mane, 21 Savage, London On Da Track
A star-studded rap track that is easily one of the catchiest tracks on this list and is sure to please.
9. “Make Me Feel” – Janelle Monáe
This infectious R&B and pop mix is a perfect track with an obvious Michael Jackson influence.
10. “I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me) Spotify Single” – Fall Out Boy
As if a brand new album wasn’t enough, the guys of Fall Out Boy stopped by Spotify and graced us with their rendition of this track and it’s an amazing modern take on Whitney Houston’s classic.
