We’ve finally made it to Friday! For this New Music Friday, we have new songs that will be the perfect additions to your favorite playlists. This week has tracks from the likes of Billie Eilish, WILLOW, twenty one pilots and more. See our full guide below.
1. “Your Power” – Billie Eilish
After announcing her next album, Happier Than Ever, due out at the end of July, Billie Eilish returns with a new single. This track showcases the dark-pop singer-songwriter’s vocal and clear growth in songwriting which has us reeling for the full album.
2. “Coffee” – Ai Bendr
A love song that talks of meeting someone you never thought you would — someone you want to stay the night and who you’ll make them coffee in the morning. It has a haunting sound but has all the killer details a good singer-songwriter song has with a strong pop beat.
3. “t r a n s p a r e n t s o u l (feat. Travis Barker)” – WILLOW
The newest track from WILLOW is a totally new direction for her and we are loving it! It’s hardcore pop-rock at its finest with clear influence from Paramore. She teams up with Travis Barker, who manages to add even more energy to the track.
4. “I’d Rather Be Alone” – Brye
This track is all about realizing that your relationship is over even though you’re still in it. The daily details like I love yous, days without fighting are nowhere in sight. Brye light voice carries the track and brings a sweet air to it, that ties everything together perfectly.
5. “Out of Time” – Grace Gaustad
The opening track for Grace Gaustad’s newly-released EP, Welcome To Jupiter 1.0, is a vibey pop track that features hard-hitting lyrics that show off her artistry and sets the tone for the entire EP.
6. “love race (feat. Kellin Quinn)” – Machine Gun Kelly
MGK returns with another anthem that will be sure to new and old fans alike. To take this track even higher, he recruited Sleeping With Sirens frontman, Kellin Quinn and together they encapsulate the pop-punk sound perfectly.
7. “Autumn” – Never Loved
An alternative love song at its finest. It features rock elements and strong singer-songwriter vibes that ooze with thoughtful lyrics that will be sure to pull on all of your heartstrings.
8. “Found My Friends” – Hayley Kiyoko
Dramatic from the first note this track is haunting and deep but slowly morphs into a stellar dance-pop track that will be sure to get just about everyone up and moving.
9. “lover/loner” – Nightly
This alt-pop track is a relatable one. It talks about the duality of life and how some days we feel like lovers and others we feel like loners. A strong pop beat makes it danceable but the lyrics will be sure to hit home.
10. “Choker” – twenty one pilots
A unique track from the very beginning. It’s simple but intriguing — something all good twenty one pilots tracks are. The chorus hits and it’s big and beautiful and gives the entire track a new dimension.
