Top 10 Singles for the Week of September 20, 2019:
1. “Never Gonna Like You (feat. Snakehips)” – Bea Miller
Former BTS cover star, Bea Miller is back with a new track that’s more soulful than most of her work and we are totally here for it. Snakehips makes the track even better to solidify the EDM sound.
2. “Stack It Up (feat. A Boogie wit da Hoodie)” – Liam Payne
The former One Direction member has money on his mind — but he knows he has to work to get it. This track is relatable and danceable, so it will be sure to be a hit in no time.
3. “Pin the Grenade” – blink-182
The highly awaited new album, NINE from blink-182 is finally here and this track is definitely a highlight from it. It’s strong-willed and has that loved blink sounds that fans will go crazy for.
4. “Stupid Things” – Keane
The singer-songwriter influenced band is back with a new album and this is one of our favorites from it. It talks all of all the stupid things we find ourselves doing day in and day out.
5. “I Don’t Miss You at All” – Finneas
A unique and intriguing sounding track that talks about getting over a breakup and telling yourself you’re over it and ready to move on to better things (even if that’s a lie).
6. “You Can’t Stop the Girl (From Disney’s Maleficent: Mistress of Evil)” – Bebe Rexha
An incredibly emotional pop track that talks of the world trying to tear women down and how women should be empowered to come up from all of that and conquer.
7. “Memories” – Maroon 5
New Maroon 5 music? Yes, please! This new track dives into the past through a live-sounding vibe that makes it feel more raw and personal. A great track if there ever was one.
8. “Show Me Love (feat. Miguel)” – Alicia Keys
A sultry, R&B-heavy track that shows off a new side of Alicia Keys and we love it. Miguel only adds to the quality of this track and their vocals together is perfection.
9. “Afterlife (from the Apple TV+ Original Series Dickinson)” – Hailee Steinfeld
This new track has strong pop and synth vibes that makes it a modern sound for a surprisingly classic story of the life of Emily Dickinson.
10. “Feelings” – Lauv
Lauv is notorious at being able to pen our most inner feelings and this track is no different. Complete with his sweet vocal, this track talks all about the moment when you cross the line from friends to more.
