Happy New Music Friday! This week is stacked with awesome new songs from Lizzo, Cardi B, Luke Hemmings and more! See the full guide below.
- “Rumors” – Lizzo & Cardi B
A winning collab if there ever was one. Two of the biggest women in music right now, have come together to shoot back against the haters. The track is upbeat and infectious, all the while showing the world there are way bigger issues in the world that should be in the spotlight. - “Nothing Else Matters” – Phoebe Bridgers
The next track from The Metallica Blacklist, a complete album of Metallica covers done by all different artists, is Phoebe Bridgers’s rendition of “Nothing Else Matters.” The track is deep and dark, and Bridgers’s vocal only takes it higher. - “abcdefu” – Gayle
The killer revenge ex-track you’ve been looking for. It’s hard-hitting, unique and infectious. Gayle takes a clever take on the alphabet and gets back at her ex in the best way. - “Down South (feat. Yella Beezy & Maxo Kream)” – Wale
A track that talks all about coming from the South and becoming successful and everything that had to be overcome to do that. This collection of artists come together perfectly and really sells the track. - “You Signed Up For This” – Maisie Peters
An apology track for being a difficult human sometimes, but pointing out that your partner signed up for this. It’s sweet and simple and some of her best work to date. - “Runaway Horses (feat. Phoebe Bridgers)” – The Killers
The Killers drop a new track that’s a bit different from their previous discography. It’s slow and earnest and the addition of Bridgers only makes the song feel even more raw and just ties everything together beautifully. - “OUT OUT (feat. Charli XCX & Saweetie)” – Joel Corry & Jax Jones
The high-energy EDM track you’ve been missing. It’s poppy and fun and talks about something we all miss: going out out. - “Baby Blue” – Luke Hemmings
5SOS frontman Luke Hemmings has officially dropped his solo debut album When Facing The Things We Turn Away From. This track is a clear standout. It’s longing and earnest — truly some of his best music to date. - “Holiday Hills” – Loud Luxury
A perfect end of the summer track. It’s fun and catchy with lyrics that tell a story. It will be sure to get you moving at your final pool part of the summer. - “papercuts” – Machine Gun Kelly
MGK returns to his rock roots with his latest track which is the first song of his new era. It’s strong-willed and infectious, all things a good MGK track is.
