Happy New Music Friday, friends! This week’s guide is jam-packed with great new tracks from artists like Jonas Brothers, LANY and more. See the full guide below.
Top 10 Singles for the Week of May 15, 2020:
1. “X (feat. KAROL G)” – Jonas Brothers
This Latin-infused track is reminiscent of Maroon 5 and creates a perfect new direction for the Jonas Brothers. KAROL G’s Spanish vocal blends so well and takes this track to new heights.
2. “Do It” – Chloe x Hallie
These two sisters have really locked in their sound and this track solidifies that while showcasing both of their vocal abilities.
3. “Summer Feelings (feat. Charlie Puth)” – Lennon Stella
This track is truly made up of summer feelings. Upbeat and happy vibes are everything and the vocals from Charlie Puth and Lennon Stella are both dripping with California vibes.
4. “Lose Somebody” – Kygo & OneRepublic
A great collaboration we didn’t know we needed. This track talks of letting someone go to realize that you really love them. OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder is earnest in the best way that will draw any listener in.
5. “Young & Sad” – Noah Cyrus
A too relatable track that talks of trying to please everyone and inevitably failing. The former BTS cover star will instantly connect as will that quick message from Billy Ray Cyrus at the very start of the track.
6. “Zen” – X Ambassadors, K. Flay & grandson
Probably the most relatable track on this list. It talks of us all going a bit crazy during quarantine and just wanting some peace. These three artists take this song and make it fun and upbeat.
7. “Daisies” – Katy Perry
An anthemic track that talks of standing back up after have pushed you and your dreams down. It’s infectious and empowering; a gem in Katy Perry’s discography.
8. “Stupid Love (Vitaclub Warehouse Mix) [feat. Vitaclub]” – Lady Gaga
A new take on one of Lady Gaga’s latest tracks and it’s the perfect track for a dance party in the club (or your living room). It’s even more upbeat and catchy than the original.
9. “Guys” – The 1975
A ballad-style song that is a bit different for The 1975 — but talks of their band in the making and how it changed their lives in such an honest way.
10.“good guys” – LANY
LANY returns with a new track and it’s another masterpiece– full of emotion and confusion that makes their music so relatable all with a catchy pop beat behind it.
