Top 10 Singles for the Week of April 19, 2019:
1. “Before I Let Go (Homecoming Live Bonus Track)” – Beyoncé
The queen dropped another surprise album and Netflix special, Homecoming, which depicts the lead up to her iconic 2018 Coachella performance. The track has all the soul and movement from the live show so you can relive it again and again.
2. “Au Revoir” – Phangs
A synth-pop track with dreamlike wispy vocals and tells the story of getting over that ex, finally.
3.“Julien” – Carly Rae Jepsen
With unique vocals and backing tracks, this fun pop song gets taken to a new level. It’s catchy and fun, just like everything Carly Rae Jepsen does.
4. “I’m Still Here” – Modest Mouse
A track reminiscent of early 2000s — with strong drum beats and loud passion-filled lyrics, this is a song for the ages.
5.“Saw Lightning” – Beck
An interesting track with fun and unique sounds and vocals. This will be sure to be a hit on radio waves, but it will be taken to another level when performed live.
6. “Disguise” – Motionless in White
A strong sound with the haunting and dark lyrics and vocals that fans love. This is sure to be a cult favorite in no time.
7. “La Respuesta” – Becky G. & Maluma
The Latino track you’ve been dreaming of. With soulful vocals and longing lyrics, it’s everything you didn’t know you needed.
8. “Conversation” – Catfish and the Bottlemen
A strong opening quickly fades into a sweet singer-songwriter track that takes you to an infectious chorus with attitude.
9. “Last Hurrah (David Guetta Remix)” – Bebe Rexha
A new life is breathed into this pop and EDM track. With more beat drops and somehow even a catchier chorus this will be the perfect addition to the weekend party playlist.
10. “Cashmoney” – No Rome
A chill, synth-filled track that gives you all the good vibes you’re looking for. While the music may be laid back, the lyrics tell a story of designers and all the best money can buy.
