That’s right! The Alternative Press Music Awards are back for their third year and All Time Low band members, Alex Gaskarth and Jack Barakat are coming back too!
Moving locations from the city of rock and roll, Cleveland, Ohio to the Schottenstein Center in the state’s capitol, Columbus, the third annual APMA’s is set to be the best one yet. The move of venue is due to the city of Cleveland hosting the 2016 Republican Party convention. So, to stay in the spirit of the election, AP has decided to nickname this year’s show as the Punk Rock Convention.
Alternative Press Founder and CEO, Mike Shea said, “fans are going to be blown away by all of the surprises we already have planned for this year’s APMA’s. We’ve been working on the 2016 show since right after last year’s ended, and I already cannot wait to start announcing the initial line-up in the upcoming weeks.”
Gaskarth and Barakat will be hosting for the second year in a row. Last year’s show at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, was full of two band members’ silly humor and crazy antics. On returning to host, Gaskarth and Barakat said, “We are so happy to be returning to the APMA’s this year to host. Last year we didn’t make a lot of friends (sad face emoji), so this year – we’re coming back as something no one can hate, politicians! We look forward to being part of this Punk Rock Convention. Get ready to vote – Stay tuned.”
We can’t wait to see who is going to be on the lineup this year! Who do you hope to see at the show this year?
