Mob Rich (formerly known as Moby Rich) got us feeling like a million bucks with this new, bouncy track.
The alt-pop duo of Maxwell Joseph and Connor Pledger is back with their new single, “Everything and Nothing.” Released this past Friday, February 19th, it has quickly amassed 19.7K streams on Spotify.
It is a bright song that beautifully explores the vulnerability of being in a relationship. On one hand, they may have either found their forever love. On the other hand, it could lead to a heartbreak. It shows how the trials and tribulations of dating can have someone feeling “everything and nothing” at the same time.
Mob Rich also released the music video for single on Friday. It is a fun visual where we see actor Michael Cave dancing and shuffling in his black high-top Converse throughout the streets of Pledger’s hometown, Atlanta. The charismatic energy of this video can be felt and you can’t help but dance along. It has already garnered a 25.4K views in five days.
The single comes after the December 2020 release of their EP, Songs We Didn’t Write Vol. 2. It is a two-track project consisting covers of songs, “The Killing Moon” by Echo and the Bunnymen and “Sweet Disposition” by Temper Trap. Prior to that, they dropped a rock hit in “friends*” featuring Bishop Briggs. The song was a smash, garnering over 2.4 million streams on Spotify.
“Everything and Nothing” is the first single off of their upcoming debut album, set to release this summer. They are currently in the last stages of putting the finishing touches on the album. Expect to hear more information on the yet-to-be-titled album soon.
Mob Rich are running with serious momentum right now and they are only going to get hotter the closer we get to summer (pun intended).
