Canadian pop singer/ songwriter Miranda Joan released her new single that was written post-lockdown as an expression of built up frustration. Joan was eager to return to socializing and experiencing the high energy in the city – this resulted in “Overstimulated” being born.
It’s the title track off her upcoming album, and first release. With sultry vocals and glistening R&B melodies, Joan is one to stand out. She was born in Montreal and raised in Vancouver. Currently, she resides in Brooklyn.
Joan’s background in jazz influences her music. Her bi-coastal upbringing has shaped her into the person and artist she is today. Having French and English under her belt, has played a huge role in her writing.
Joan has performed on various national tours and sold out venues in NYC. She is the co-host and co-founder of Brooklyn’s Femme Jam – an inclusive community for female musicians.
With much going for her, we are excited to watch Miranda Joan thrive!
