Meet Me at the Altar started the night off at St. Louis Music Park with a punch—literally—opening their set with their second official single “Hit Like a Girl.” Formed in 2015 and after going viral in 2020, Meet Me at the Altar was signed to Fueled by Ramen, following public endorsements from well-known pop punk names such as Alex Gaskarth of All Time Low and Dan Campbell of The Wonder Years.
On the ninth stop opening for coheadliner tour consisting of The Used and Coheed and Cambria, on September 8th, 2021, the all-female pop punk band warmed up the crowd as the sun began to set, casting a warm golden glow as songs like “Garden” or cover/mashup of “My Friends Over You” filled the amphitheater. Though they didn’t play for long, their fast-paced set and high energy got the crowd amped up for the rest of the evening—even the ones that weren’t singing along. Meet Me at the Altar is here to remind you that pop punk is alive and well, and shows no signs of stopping.
