Following the announcement of his debut album Walls (which is set to be released next year), Louis Tomlinson shared the music video for “Don’t Let It Break Your Heart” with fans this morning. The song is the fourth single from his upcoming album. It’s vaguely reminiscent of his days in One Direction, with it’s wide-spread message and anthemic melodies.
“Don’t Let It Break Your Heart” is a song all about perseverance and standing up for yourself and the people you love. The music video follows a couple that are at a crossroad in their relationship. Throughout the video, viewers see the man battling with giving up the criminal activity he’s fallen into for the woman he loves and the journey he goes on to free himself from the path he’s on. The video has a very cinematic feel to it – from the story line to the cinematography to the way it was filmed, which makes it a great fit for the song and its touching message.
Walls is set to be released on January 31st, 2020 via Syco Music and Arista Records. Following the release of the album, Tomlinson will be embarking on his first headlining tour across North America in the spring.
