Logan Henderson, past Beyond The Stage cover star, released his own version of Elton John’s “Rocketman” yesterday morning. Premiered on Billboard, the track is stripped down, driven by a strong piano and guitar-based backing track. Vocally, the track is one of Henderson’s strongest vocal works, with a gliding melody and passion that’s showcased through the entire track. Although the track isn’t an original to Henderson, it’s clear that he relates to the lyrics and feels an emotional and personal connection to the track. The range of Elton John, who’s known for his effortless vocals and talent, is easily achievable for Henderson from start to finish, especially through the chorus.
The release of “Rocketman” was a complete surprise to Logan Henderson fans. Just a few days before the release, Henderson teased the track via social media, letting fans know that something was coming later that week.

Love you Elton. Check out the premiere at billboard . Special thanks to @popnick @nophonenoah & @andrewtinkermusic for the beautiful arrangement.
