Logan Henderson is no stranger to the music industry. In 2009, Henderson rose to fame with the former pop band Big Time Rush and now has over three million twitter followers who are eagerly awaiting his solo debut. Good news Logan Henderson fans. The wait is finally over.
Today, Henderson released his R&B infused new single “Sleepwalker” that will make anyone want to dance but the song is anything but happy. In fact, the message is melancholy at best. “It’s about a guy who’s stuck in this inception type of dream with this woman, and he’s reliving a lot of things,” he tells Billboard. “A lot of times we can kind of escape our reality. It’s this guy who’s trapped between two worlds of dream world and reality. It’s about life, love and relationships. I’ve always been interested in the dream world and the places our minds go when we sleep.”
It’s a fun track with exceptional lyrics showcasing that some memories are hard to escape. It’s the perfect introduction to a more mature sound and the growth that Henderson has developed in the past few years. “Sleepwalker” was written by the man himself, and is said to be the first taste of what’s to come for him and his upcoming debut project. If it sounds anything like this, we can’t wait.
