Day 2 of Life Is Beautiful was filled with good beer, beautiful art, and more rockin’ performances that sang throughout the festival grounds!
Our second festival day began at Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino’s rooftop pool for an exclusive party hosted by Select and Rolling Stone. The party featured a live performance by Lost Frequencies presented by MATUA.
The festival stages once again were home to tons of fun, high-energy sets.
The Downtown Stage saw performances by Modest Mouse, HAIM, and Surfaces.
Surfaces brought all of the vibes with their hits “Sunday Best”, “Wave of You”, and their recent release with Tai Verdes, “Sheesh!”
Once again, the BACARDÍ Stage was a crowd-favorite with performances by Ludacris, Illenium, and EARTHGANG.
Before making our way to more live music, we had to stop by Iya Terra Brewing for their exclusive India Pale Ale with Mango, Coconut, and Lime Zest. The beer was delicious, the people were so kind, and $1 from every “Beer Is Beautiful” IPA sold will be going to The Center to serve the LGBTQ+ Community of Southern Nevada.
The beer got us ready to go crazy for All Time Low at the Huntridge Stage. Their short, but sweet, set was filled with their hits, old and new, plenty of moshing, and lots of love onstage between the boys. Their set was a perfect pre-game leading into the INCREDIBLE, nostalgia-filled set by last night’s headliner, Green Day, at the Downtown Stage.
There’s so much more to explore at the festival, so if you haven’t already, be sure to check out the various food vendors, comedy shows, and if you need to see anything, you have to check out the must-see immersive art installation by Laurie Shapiro, commissioned by weedmaps, titled “Flowers Are Not A Crime”.
Whew! What a beautiful day it was.
The last day of Life Is Beautiful begins today at 2 pm!
The festival is also being live-streamed on Twitch so you can also enjoy Day 3 of Life Is Beautiful.
