Lennon Stella has done it again, this time hitting us with a new single titled “Fancy”. This airy song will make you feel like you’re floating. It’s fitting that listeners dance along, being the theme is the electric feeling dancing brings you.
We’ve been patiently waiting for a new solo song following the release of Stella’s debut album Three. Two. One. “Fancy” doesn’t stray too far from the songs on her last album, staying true to her unique sound. However, this dance beat may have you moving in a new way, and we think that was Stella’s exact intention.
Before releasing the song, Stella teased us with promo videos and a blurry photo, encapsulating the euphoric vibe of her new song. She included a lyric as her caption, too.
It is clear she’s stoked about this release and wants us to love it just as much!
Not only does the catchy tune have fabulous lyrics, but the song noticeably slows down towards the end, putting us into a slow-motion trance. This change in tempo allows those listening to really feel the music.
The music video for “Fancy” brings the etherial song to a whole new level. The dim lit scene features the artist dancing with bursts of light. The galactic images that flash at the end enhance the experience with moving shapes and colors- creating a moment of hallucination.
We are excited to see what Stella has in store for us next and hope this is a step in the artistic direction of her second album.
