LCD Soundsystem have announced their first new album in seven years. American Dream will be released on September 1 via Columbia Records/DFA, right before the group hits the road on a world tour.
American Dream will include “Call the Police” and “American Dream,” the two songs released last month and performed on Saturday Night Live.
LCD Soundsystem is currently in the middle of a sold-out seven-show run at Brooklyn Steel in New York City that wraps up on June 24. The band will end their world tour with another residency at Brooklyn Steel in December. The group is set to tour throughout Europe in September, and then return to North America from October – December. Check out their official website for more details on purchasing tickets.
