East London rock band The Last Dinner Party have announced a headlining North American tour in spring 2024. The group will start in Mexico before playing in the US and Canada. The tour will take place in March and April. Miss Grit will join them for most shows. The band also scheduled three additional US performances in July and August. Tickets go on sale Friday, January 26 and can be accessed here. Keep reading to see which cities The Last Dinner Party is playing.
The Last Dinner Party will touch down in North America soon after the release of their debut album Prelude To Ecstasy. The record is out on February 2 via Island Records.
The Last Dinner Party’s members (vocalist Abigail Morris, keyboard player Aurora Nishevc, lead guitarist/flutist Emily Roberts, bassist Georgia Davies and guitarist Lizzie Mayland) all seem to be thrilled to share their first album.
“We exorcised guitars for their solos, laid bare confessions directly from diary pages, and summoned an orchestra to bring our vision to life,” the band collectively said in a release.
The Last Dinner Party are no strangers to headlining shows or taking big stages. They played under the storied Woodsies Tent at Glastonbury in summer 2023.
Prelude To Ecstasy will feature the single “Nothing Matters.” The song has garnered over 21 million Spotify streams since it dropped in April 2023. Scroll to watch the band make their US television debut performing “Nothing Matters” on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
There’s been buzz around other The Last Dinner Party singles. Their newest tune “Caesar on a TV Screen” was shared on January 4. It’s made airwaves on popular platforms like BBC Radio 6 Music with Steve Lamacq.
