Last night in Pittsburgh, PA, we had the opportunity to catch The 1975. Their stage setup is generally best for indoor venues, as it creates a whole different environment, but this outdoor show still didn’t fall short to anything but phenomenal.
As the fog was blowing away with the wind, the band came out to their 80’s pop styled hit “Love Me”, which instantly sparked the crowd into a dancing frenzy. The crowd, filled with anyone from the ages of 10 to 50, were ecstatic as the band went into the next song on their setlist “UGH!,” which also follows “Love Me” on their newest album “I Like It When You Sleep For You Are So Beautiful, Yet So Unaware Of It”.
The band has a phenomenal lighting show that creates a whole new world for the crowd, with backgrounds such as spinning light prisms, cityscapes, and of course their signature rectangles hanging over their heads. On a musical and visual standpoint, this band never fails to amaze. You can see photos of their set below.
