Former BTS cover star, Ava Max is back with a new track that is fun and infectious even though it talks about having to get over someone but finding that it’s ultimately for the best and bringing her best self out.
2. “Only A Dream” – Zella Day
A light and earnest track that offers hard-hitting lyrics that will be sure to draw in just about anyone. It talks about wanting something back so badly, even if it wasn’t real.
3. “Caught In The Middle” – Alexander 23
This simple, yet haunting track talks of what life is like post-breakup. In the middle of being together and getting back to normal being alone.
4. “Red Sangria” – Jordan Sparks
Not the Jordan Sparks you remember. This new era of the American Idol alum shows off her edgier, badass side and it’s just what we need.
5. “Bon Iver” – mxmtoon
A smooth, calming track reminiscent of a Bon Iver song and is the epitome of a perfect singer-songwriter song.
6. “Banks” – NEEDTOBREATHE
A quiet but effective guitar riff opens this and sets the tone for the entire song. It slowly builds to an anthemic chorus that will be sure to please.
7. “My Oasis (feat. Burna Boy)” – Sam Smith
The latest track from Sam Smith has a clear Latin-influence and the inclusion of Burna Boy only makes this track hotter. It offers Smith the change to stretch his legs and explore a new genre style.
8. “Married In Vegas” – The Vamps
An intriguing vocal opens this song and offers a path to a fun and danceable and adventurous message. It gives off the energy that you can do anything and that the night is young — no matter what hour it is.
9. “Lazy Love” – Sheppard
The story of a girl who lies to get the love that she wants, no matter how it affects others, but her love is still better than nothing. This song is infectious and relatable and just an overall great track.
10. “Happiness” – McFly
McFly always has fun and different music and this song doesn’t disappoint. It’s old school and the vocals bring any listener in right away — the track talks about finding that perfect love and just experiencing happiness for what feels like the first time.
