Clearly we aren’t the only ones loving all the new The Lion King music — Pentatonix has jumped on the bandwagon and took this classic and made it their own.
4. “Wam (feat. MadeinTYO)” – A$AP Ferg
This strong-willed track has a haunting sound to it that makes it even better. Between lots of name drops and the addition of MadeinTYO, this song will be the new rap favorite.
5. “How Do You Sleep?” – Sam Smith
Sam Smith has put out another great pop track that oozes in honesty and rawness. Get ready for this one to pull on your heartstrings.
6. “Lying (feat. Lil Tjay)” – PRETTYMUCH
A heavily EDM-based track that has the soul of a great R&B song and the chorus of an infectious pop song. An instant favorite, if there ever was one.
7. “I.F.L.Y.” – Bazzi
Smooth and soulful, this track talks of Bazzi trading in his player style, for the one who he really loves.
8. “Gone (feat. Christine and the Queens)” – Charli XCX
The pop track we didn’t know we needed. A danceable beat? Check. Awesome female vocals? Check. Just a great track all around? Check. Get ready to hear this one everywhere.
9. “Amethyst” – Haunt the Woods
A chill opening to this track draws you in to the earnest lyrics and heart of the entire track. If you’re looking for a chill rock track, this is the song for you.
10. “MOOD 4 EVA” – Beyoncé, JAY-Z & Childish Gambino
Another strong track from the soundtrack for The Lion King has spirit and soul and these three amazing artists teaming up, makes it even better.
