Happy New Music Friday! This week’s best tunes from some of our favorite artists in the biz, Here’s your guide for new music from James TW, Maren Morris, John Mayer and more!
Top 10 Singles for the Week of February 22, 2019:
1. “pictures (feat. Kacey Musgraves)” – Judah & The Lion
A truly great team up if there ever was one. Judah & The Lion’s singer-songwriter sound with this sad story plus country-pop idol Kacey Musgraves’ longing vocal really makes this track feel complete.
2. “No Sleep (feat. Bonn)” – Marin Garrix
A slow-building track that offers an anthemic feel that will be sure to get you feeling free from the first chorus.
3.“My Best Habit” – The Maine
The next installment of the new The Maine “You Are OK” era is here and it’s a jam. With an angsty feel and infectious chorus it is sure to be a hit with fans.
4. “Suitcase” – James TW
James TW’s next release from his upcoming, Chapters. It’s the sweet light sound we know and love accompanied by a sad story of trying to make someone stay.
5.“Stray” – Grace VanderWaal
A raw, sultry vocal opens this great track and then morphs into a strong-willed message filled with passion and anger.
6. “One Less Day (Dying Young)” – Rob Thomas
A catchy hook that will catch just about everyone and bring them in and get them moving (and keep them moving).
7. “Living in L.A.” – Weezer
A unique opening and radio-infused vocal gives this track and extra oomph that puts it over to the next level. You won’t be getting this one out of your head (but you most likely won’t care).
8. “I Guess I Just Feel Like” – John Mayer
After 2018’s “New Light”, John Mayer has returned with a track that is a lot more stripped back and shows off his vocal range, with high backing vocals. His story is as relatable as ever and will be a great addition to any music collection.
9. “The Bones” – Maren Morris
Maren Morris is back yet again with another strong track. The third track from her upcoming record, GIRL has that unified sound that makes it feel like anything is possible and that any obstacles can be overcome.
10. “Confident” – Carlos Vara
A haunting track that still has a strong pop backing that will be the refreshing track you need for your dance playlist.
