Top 10 Singles for the Week of January 31, 2020:
1. “Sometimes” – H.E.R.
The Grammys were a huge success with great performances, and this track was one of the best. It shows H.E.R. at her most vulnerable, relatable and inspirational thanks to expressive lyrics and a moving melody.
2. “Physical” – Dua Lipa
From the upcoming Future Nostalgia, this track is futuristic pop with those same angsty lyrics we know and love from Dua Lipa. If the high energy of this track sets the tone for the whole album, then we can’t wait for it’s release.
3. “Holy Grail” – Kid Ink
A new track from Kid Ink that is catchy and inspired. This track won’t be out of your head anytime soon, but we don’t think that you’ll mind.
4. “Last Time” – Midnight Kids
A sweet and simple voice opens this track and leads to the build-up of the strong chorus. The anthemic sound is infectious and is sure to be a fan favorite.
5. “Blue Moon Rising” – Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds
The opening beat holds through for the entirety of this song and it perfectly complements Noel Gallagher’s vocal creating a dreamlike pop track that’s sure to please.
6. “Headshot” – Madge
A hauntingly deep track that is intriguing from the very first note. It’s unique sound and vibe will be a standout on any playlist.
