Heavily known for her 2016 platinum single remix with Cheat Codes “Pretty Girl,” Maggie Lindemann prepares for the release of her debut EP PARANOIA dropping January 22. Yesterday, she released her newest music video to the upcoming EP’s first single “Knife Under My Pillow.”
PARANOIA Track List:
- Knife Under My Pillow
- GASLIGHT! feat. Siiickbrain
- Scissorhands
- Crash and Burn
- Loner
- Love Songs
- Different
- It’s Not Your Fault
The video plays into the EP title as Lindemann walks around her house at night anxiously and uneasily, giving off a scary movie vibe.
“I wanted to do some cheesy 2000s scary movie vibe,” Lindemann said. “The walking around the house with the flashlight with a full-on glam look, ugh it’s so good. A mixture between a corny scary movie with a modern twist on a 2000s look.”
It brings out the paranoia we all have felt at least once before while home alone.
“Walking around the house to find nobody in it, but SWEARING you saw shadows,” she said.

“Knife Under My Pillow” was released back in August succeeded by three more of the EP’s singles “GASLIGHT!,” “Scissorhands,” which made Billboard’s Top 25 Rock Songs of 2020, and “Loner.” Following the song , the EP was named one of the 50 Most Anticipated Albums of 2021 by Alt Press.
Beyond her EP debut, Lindemann’s acting debut is fast approaching. She will be starring in Machine Gun Kelly’s musical film Downfalls High alongside Euphoria‘s Sydney Sweeney and TikTok star Chase “Lil Huddy” Watson. A teen coming of age story, it comes out on next week on January 15 months after his Tickets To My Downfall album.
