Singer-songwriter Kultures is back with his newest single “Living in the Same House.”
This is a soft rock song that explores the feelings of finding that special someone you want to spend every day with. It is a well-produced song, decorated with soft drums, piano and a brass section to give it a lift. The highlight of the song is Kultures’s dreamy vocals and songwriting.
The music video complements the single well. It shows visuals of a woman and a house. The video also plays with light and dark. The many images of light occur in the form of fire, sunlight and sparks — possibly symbolizing love.
The song comes after the release of his debut single, “Favorite Number,” which premiered in April. It is a bright and airy song about staying on track and being confident. Kultures shows off his instrumentation and crisp vocals, creating a beautifully soothing track.
Cleveland native Kultures, a.k.a. Justin Miller, is a new artist who looks to bring a fresh style of music to the world. Besides being a vocalist, he is a multi-instrumentalist — knowing how to play the guitar, bass, piano and drums. He plans to combine his talents and create a sound that he could call his own.
He’s trying to make an impact on his own terms. The stories he wants to tell with his music are one of self-actualization, authentic love and self-expression. So far, we’ve been getting just that.
Kultures has been preparing for the release of his self-titled debut album for over a year now and we are nearing that time. He produced the entirety of the LP in his own home studio.
In a press release, the project “leans on vocal-forward melodies and intricate soundscapes, which bring unique context to each track.”
The LP will contain eight tracks, including his two lead singles. With no official date as of yet, we can only assume that it is close by and we can’t wait!
