Irish rock band, Kodaline, released their new single, “Brother” after an extended break from releasing music. After their second album, Coming Up For Air (2015), Kodaline has been touring, performing for charity and continuing to write for their hopefully, upcoming album.
“Brother” captures Kodaline’s signature sound but also showcases how the band has grown since their last release. The quartet captures the listener’s attention with heartfelt lyrics and their talented vocals across all four members. Set to definitely be on of our favorite songs of summer, “Brother” is one of our favorites from Kodaline.
“Brother” was released June 23rd and was followed by a performance at Glastonbury later this weekend. Kodaline also released the video for “Brother” shortly after releasing the single, gaining more than 800,000 views in just two days. The video chronicles a boy who lost his brother, overcoming grief and connecting with his loss. Sure to make anyone cry, the band truly tells a story in this video and continues to impress us with their talent.
