You might know Jordan Fisher from “Teen Beach Movie, “from “Grease: Live” or as our most recent cover star. The time has finally come for his self-titled EP to be released. Overall, the four-song EP is a great introduction to Fisher and is a sneak peek into what his upcoming debut album will bring. Each song is distinct and memorable, and will no doubt help Fisher further launch his career in pop music.
The EP begins with his debut single, “All About Us.” This track really shows off Fisher’s vocal range, from his deep soulful vocals to his high falsettos. It’s a catchy pop-meets-R&B song. If there’s one song that encompasses what Jordan Fisher can bring to the table, it’s this one.
Next up is “Counterfeit,” which is much different from the first song. It’s a pop song that incorporates techno and dance beats. The eclectic song also features a rap verse. This is definitely the most memorable song of the album because it is so different from everything else and shows the creativity Fisher puts into his music.
The third song on the EP is “All I Wanna Do.” It’s not necessary a slow song, but more of a head-bopping song, rather than an upbeat dance song. It’s got a cool beat in the background and Fisher’s smooth vocals make the song feel complete.
The album comes to a close with “Lookin’ Like That,” a funky, fun pop song with incredibly catchy lyrics. This song was an excellent choice to end the album because it will definitely keep listeners keep coming back for more.
In conclusion, Jordan Fisher’s self-titled EP is a solid introduction to his music. It features four distinct tracks that leave the listener wanting for more. It’s not an EP that you listen to and forget about—it’s memorable. Until he releases his debut album, fans will be replaying these four songs on repeat.
