Jordan Fisher may be more than a little busy right now. Our former cover artist and Teen Beach Movie star not only delivered a show-stopping performance in Grease: Live and joined the Broadway cast of the hit show, Hamilton, but he also happens to be a score-topping contestant on this season of Dancing with the Stars. Yet, somehow, the 23-year-old triple threat still finds the time to work on his music career and record a new single.
Earlier this week, Jordan released the song “Mess,” which is his first release in about a year. He co-wrote with Dewain Whitmore, Patrick “J-Que” Smight and Mike Sabath, and it tells the story of girls messing with his mind and emotions. The track has a catchy, groovy beat and a tropical sound, providing a great backdrop for Jordan’s smooth vocals.
After taking his time with this song, we’re hoping that Jordan has a few more up his sleeve. Possibly a debut album to follow his 2016 EP?
