“Good Day” after “Good Day” for Jake Scott on his Lavender Tour

Arkansas native Jake Scott just wrapped up his Lavender Tour, which hit major stops across the US. His audience was delighted to hear favorites like “She Likes It” and “CWJBHN” along with a few from his upcoming debut album Lavender. The Lavender Tour was an eventful one for Jake – he performed on the Today Show, helped a fan propose onstage, partnered with Onyx Coffee to create his own blend, and even jumped out of a helicopter for the “Good Day” music video. Scott’s newest single “Good Day” offers laid-back, sunshine vibes. This makes for the perfect tune to add to your feel-good Saturday playlist. We’ll definitely have this one on repeat this winter and praying for some sunny days soon. 

“She’s Not You” is exactly the kind of song we want to dance along to – but don’t let the beat distract from the yearning and hopeless regret in the lyrics. It is great to see Scott show off his songwriting chops in his own music after writing hits for the likes of Aloe Blacc.

Part of why fans love Scott is his commitment to his wife Rachael and adorable baby daughter Ruby. His love for his family is certainly mirrored in his music, as he has described his tone as “hopelessly romantic with a dash of swagger”. Scott has developed quite an adoring fanbase that loves to interact with the warmhearted artist.
