Following the announcement of his EP “OVERNIGHT,” Jake Miller announced the first single off the EP. The title track “OVERNIGHT” dropped August 5th. The single was much anticipated by fans and they instantly bought the track and streamed it everywhere! Jake ‘s fan base “The Millertary” came together and pushed the single to #41 on iTunes since the initial release. The song is different from what we usually hear from Jake. There is a visible change when talking about Jake’s new music, there is more of a pop vibe instead of hip hop, that reasoning is simply because Jake decided to stray away from rapping.
When Jake told everyone he decided to cut rap from his new music, it was a bit of a shock to fans but the response from The Millertary concerning Overnight seems to be pretty great from what we can see. We love whatever Jake puts out for us, and Overnight is totally amazing!
Jake has been letting fans know how hard he worked on all this new music, and this is just proving that hard work pays off, Overnight is the perfect pop song to end the summer with!
