If you’re planning to attend any iHeart Radio show, the Daytime Village is a MUST.
Packed with giveaways, food, live performances and eager fans, the Daytime Village at the iHeartCountry Festival Presented By Accu-Chek® Guide was a huge success despite the hot Texas weather!
What’s the show all about?
This event was FREE to all attendees and came along with many opportunities for fans to win tickets to the show that evening if they didn’t have any already. The village not only included giveaways for tickets but also included live performances. The live performances included Luke Combs, Brett Young, Dylan Scott. Danielle Bradbery, last minute addition Ben Rue and spinning by DJ Sinister throughout the afternoon.
The Performances
Opening up the event was Ben Rue the face of Accu-Chek® Guide’s #BuckOffDiabetes followed by Danielle Bradbery, Dylan Scott, Luke Combs and Brett Young. Texan, Danielle Bradbery from NBC’s The Voice was ecstatic to be back in her home state. She mentioned this several times through her performance and it really showed how much she loved being on stage with her constant smiling. She brought energy, style and great vocals to the stage throughout her perfomance that really pumped up the crowd for the upcoming acts. Dylan Scott kept the fired up with his dance moves and lets just say…he runs around on stage ALOT. We won’t forget to mention to you how Dylan Scott mentioned he wrote My Girl about his wife and never thought it would be one of his top hits. Luke Combs then brought down the energy just a tad for some more intimate and soothing songs. His vocals resonated in that parking lot and we still can’t get over listening to him sing One Number Away live.
The Overview
We love music and we love free events that allow fans to have the opportunity to see their favorite artists. iHeartRadio has done a great job at engaging with their audience and truly providing them with once in a lifetime experiences. Apart from the performacnes, Jana Kramer popped up on stage during the Daytime Village and gave away tickets for the best dressed person in the audience, that’s not something you see everyday. Thank you iHeartRadio for always thinking of the fans. We can’t wait for next year!
