The nominees for the 2017 iHeart Radio Music Awards were announced on Wednesday, January 4 and the list is nothing short of spectacular. The awards show will be held on March 5 at the Forum in Inglewood, California.
Drake leads the pack with 12 nominations, the most this year, for categories including Song of the Year, Male Artist of the Year, Hip Hop Song of the Year and Male Artist of the Year. The Chainsmokers follow Drake with 11 nominations. Other artists nominated include Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, The Weeknd and Justin Bieber.
Along with nominations being announced, it has also been announced that Bruno Mars (nominated in the Socially Voted Covers category for his rendition of Adele’s “All I Ask”). A full list of performances will be announced in the weeks to come.
This year there are eight socially voted categories, including best fan army, best lyrics and best covers, giving fans an opportunity to vote for their favorite. Voting will end on February 24. Fans can learn more about voting at iheartradio.com/awards
