British heartthrob Hrvy dropped a new track “Nevermind” on Friday from his debut album Can Anybody Hear Me? and we guarantee it’s going to make you want to cry and jam out at the same time.
The heartbreaking lyrics of losing that special person you thought you had combined with a bouncy beat makes it that perfectly crafted pop song perfect for those fun-filled drives. Hrvy captures the feeling of heartache and realization of a relationship coming to an end when he sings “Bed is empty and fifty percent // Overloaded with all the words I wish I said, but // Never mind, never mind, never mind // You were never mine, never mine.”
It’s incredible what this 21-year-old singer/songwriter has accomplished since the start of his career in 2013, including opening for UK-based band The Vamps and singer Jacob Sartorius, his own headlining tours, 2 Ep’s, and the opportunity of working with the likes of latin-pop singer Malu Trevejo and Korean group NCT Dream.
Can Anybody Hear Me? is set for release August 28 and features some of his recent singles including “Me Because Of You,” “Million Ways,” “I Miss Myself,” “Told You So,” “Hasta Luego,” and his hit single “Personal” which has surpassed over 160 million streams and over 270 million views on Youtube.
With over 10 million monthly listeners, almost 5 million followers overall, and taking influence from artists like Justin Bieber and Shawn Mendes, Hrvy is the artist that is taking over the pop scene around the world.
