When pop sensation HRVY took the stage at Chicago’s The Vic Theater, the crowd was deafening. As hands shot in the air, signs flew to the air and phones were switched to video. Immediately, the 19-year-old flashed a bright smile and began singing.
Accompanied by his own dancers, HRVY stunned his fans with complex yet perfectly coordinated dance moves that excellently complimented his singing voice. As he flowed through the routines, his vocals soared over the top of his backing track, making it for a perfectly executed set. HRVY’s dance moves were a definite highlight, perfectly placed during instrumental breakdowns and choruses. Not only did his footwork impress the crowd, but his ability to sing over jumping from half of the stage to the other half was incredible.
Not only did HRVY perform his chart-defying track “Personal,” but also included a cover of Bazzi’s “Mine” which was the perfect way for HRVY to show off his true talent, singing. As HRVY performed on the stage, fans continued to scream, throw hands out for a high five and even holding their phones out for a possible selfie.
Throughout the short but incredible set, HRVY effortlessly communicated with the crowd, even bringing beach balls into the venue to bounce from crowd member to crowd member. His crowd interaction was perfectly placed, although not ingenuine.
HRVY’s newest track, “I Wish You Were Here,” is now available via Capitol Records. Watch the music video here.
