Hailing from Brooklyn, electronic indie artist Glassio is back with another dreamy pop album titled See You Shine. It follows the story of a young adult searching for new life in the deserts of Arizona after being shunned from their small hometown.
The 17 track album covers feelings of grief/ loss and resilience – it is dedicated to Glassio’s late father. It has been described as the merging of French and British electronic music with a singer/ songwriter twist.
With favorites like “Queen of the Silver City”, “If Love is All It Takes”, and “Breakaway”, this feel-good album will leave you dancing to the techno beat. Equally, we get to experience more solemn moments with songs like “Everybody I Know Moved to L.A.”, “All My Friends Are Falling in Love” and “When I’m on Fire”, bringing beautiful dimension to the record.
In 2016, Glassio emerged with single “Try Much Harder” and peaked at number 9 on Spotify’s Global Viral Charts. With more and more single releases, Glassio picked up a lot of recognition with skyrocketing streams. His debut EP Age of Experience was then dropped, gaining popularity as well.
In 2020, Glassio’s first album, For The Very Last Time, was released, attracting a lot of praise and attention internationally. We can expect the same from the quirky artist’s latest, See You Shine!
