GhostDragon delivers an emotional song with his newest single, “Meaning To.”
The song features singer-songwriter Kwesi (previously collaborated on “Something Out of Nothing“), who lends his rich and soulful vocals on the track. It is a beautiful song that seamlessly weaves and balances the slow, poignant acoustic melodies with bright and energetic sonic synths.
The 20-year-old showcases a sense of emotional vulnerability as he explores the struggles in finding his own voice. GhostDragon speaks more on the song:
“‘Meaning To’ is a reflection of one finding an authentic voice despite past failures in love. Collaborating with Kwesi challenged me to match reflective folk instrumentals to uplifting EDM beats. As we approach the summer, I hope listeners can relax, reflect, and rise to a real meaning.”
This is the third single from the producer’s upcoming EP, Strangers Again. His first two singles “Strangers Again” and “On My Phone” in February and April, respectively. They are an excellent showcase of his versatile musical capabilities. With each single, we’re getting a more complete picture of what we can expect from the project.
GhostDragon is a rising star in the EDM world. At such a young age, he’s accomplished so much from charting on Billboard to collaborating with renowned artists such as The Chainsmokers, Zedd, Marshmello and more. He’s even had the chance to perform, exciting thousands of fans all over California.
The Bay Area native captured the attention of many fans and artists alike because of the unique, fresh and youthful sound he brings to the electronic dance genre. Oh, should we also mention that he’s doing all of this while attending the Berklee College of Music?
He has dreams of headlining festivals and concerts all over the world. We anticipate that it won’t be long until he does.
